to Hennessey, OK. They had Charles (b. abt 1875), Nettie
(b. abt 1877), Myrtle (b. abt 1879), Henry K. (b. abt
1881), Roy W. (b. abt 1883), Elba (b. abt 1889), and John

Henry and Ann died in Hennessey. Some of children may

Fanny. Frank b. 1860's in Ohio and was in the 1900 and
1910 Census's in Kingfisher Co., Ohio. Children: Henry b.

Joseph married a woman named Cleo before 1920. I need the

I also need information about Elizabeth POWELL and Samuel
BRYANT, the parents of Sarah C. BRYANT LINDLEY. Elizabeth
died in 1917 and is buried in Illinois, but there is no
Illinois death certificate. Where did she die?

I am researching the surnames PROUTY, VAN ARSDALE,
WILKINSON, PARKER, KELLY, GORE, BURNSIDE, and UNDERWOOD
in Kingfisher County, OK. Supposedly Cyrus T. Prouty was
Postmaster of Kingfisher, OK and Rev. Joseph Homer Parker
was the founder of Kingfisher College in Kingfisher. I am

16 Jun 1890, near Hennessey, Kingfisher Co., OK. He lived
on the farm of Mr J. E. Hammond, a mile and a half west

Hennessey, Kingfisher Co., OK c.1908-?. Miretta Pearl
MCKISSICK (b.1888, KS d. 1964, FL) married Edward Arthur
RAINEY (b.1879, Gentry Co., MO, d.FL? ) in 1908,
Kingfisher Co., OK. ...am not able to locate Miretta's
family in Kingfisher at this time. Her parents were John
J. MCKISSICK and Mary IRWIN (both b.PA, unknown county or

SMITH, James A., Was in Kingfisher, Oklahoma in 1900
according to the obituary of his brother William SMITH,
of Sims, Illinois, Wayne County. Looking for James A.
Smith's descendants. James A., youngest son of William
& Katherine SMITH, was born in Wayne County, Illinois
about 1858. He had 2 older brothers, William (my
ggrandfather, born in Belmont Co., Ohio, Sept. 1852) and
Malen (born in Wayne Co., Illinois in 1855). Both William
and Malen stayed in Wayne County and had large (>10)
families. Want to learn more about James A. and would be
happy to discuss Smith family. Have one picture of all
three brothers and also a picture of an unknown young

PETERSON
I am looking for information on LYDIA PETERSON. Lydia
Peterson was the mother of Isibindia Clarinda B.
Peterson, who first married Charles E. Meeker on February
7, 1875 in Missouri. Meeker died September 26, 1875.
Isibindia subsequently married Francis M. ALYEA on May
10, 1876. Information on Isibindia is from an affidavit
signed by Lydia PETERSON on June 22, 1901 in Kingfisher
County.
In the affidavit, Lydia PETERSON stated that she was 80
years old, so would have been born about 1821. PETERSON
is the married name. Maiden name is unknown. It is
possible that LYDIA PETERSON may be Indian. We would like
more information on her and possible Indian background.

family. Joseph SEAL and his wife Nancy Elizabeth MCCALL,
(daughter of Samuel MCCALL and Jane PORTER) moved to
Kingfisher Co., OK before 1890 and lived near Cashion.
Their children were Joseph Benjamin SEAL b 1864, Sarah
SEAL b. 1870, Margaret SEAL b 1874 (she married 1st
William STILLWELL and 2nd John B. CALHOUN), Thomas SEAL b
1877, William SEAL b 1879, David SEAL b 1881, Daniel SEAL
b 1986, and Hetty SEAL b 1888. Joseph Doughty SEAL's
father was James SEAL and his mother was Martha DOUGHTY

They are the surnames of the spouses of the children of
William HOPKINS and Nancy SMITH. I believe they were all
married in Kingfisher Co, OK before 1890. If you have a
HOPKINS marriage in one of the above lines please contact
me. I do not know anything about them other that they
were legatees in William's estate in 1902 in Kingfisher
Co., OK. It gave their married name, age, and residence
at the time of probate. Since the courthouse burned in
1900, is has been very hard to find marriages for these 4
daughters and 1 son.

was Albert Ross WALDO. He was born 2-7-1859 and died
9-8-1918. He was married to Eunice Abigail LIVINGSTON or
LIVINGSTONE. She was born 7-29-1864, and died 2-2-1929.
They had 6 children: 1. Harry Albert, 2. LeRoy Nathaniel
3. Jesse James 4. Della Mae 5. Charlotte (Lottie) 6.
Lillie Eva. I do not know who Albert Ross Waldo's parents
were. Eunice Abigail's parents were Nathaniel LIVINGSTON
or LIVINGSTONE and Martha YOUNGBLOOD. Nathaniel was born
around 1843 and was alive in 1870. Martha was born around
1845 and was alive in 1870. Eunice Abigail had a brother
Robert born around 1866 and a sister Sarah born around
1868. Any information you could find would be extremely

Sherod) RAYBERN, Born Oct. 16, 1885 in Missouri (we
think). She died in Kingfisher, OK. Nov. 23, 1968,
according to family records & recollection. She was
married to a Lewis (Louis) Felix RAYBERN, Feb. 10, 1904,
again in MO. Georgia is my great grandmother. She may (or
may not) be the illegitimate daughter of Molly (Mary)

Seaborn PERRY was born in Denton Co. Texas in the 188o's.
At one time he was living in Shawnee,OK. He had 4 sons,
Richard PERRY, Waynard PERRY, Kenneth PERRY and one I
don't know his name. I know at one time Kenneth PERRY
lived in Kingfisher Co. OK. He may have died in 1974.
