Offer to do Genealogical
Research for a Fee
from MWA319@aol.com:
Research at the U.S. National Archives, Washington, DC
I would like to be of assistance to anyone who would like
material pertaining to their family genealogy. While
engaging in my own personal genealogical research, I
realize what an asset it is to be located near the
primary National Archive that has original information no
other archives have in the U.S. - I have obtained
documents and information about members of my family tree
from military records of the Revolutionary War, War of
1812, and Civil War, as well as a host of other primary
sources at the National Archives, such as:
Documents & Records
U.S. Census, 1790-1920
Mortality Census Schedules, 1850-1880 (Federal)
Military Service Records, 1775-1903
Military Pensions, 1775-1916
Pension Application Files of Remarried Women
Bounty Land Warrants for Revolutionary War Service
Bounty Land Warrants for War of 1812 Service, 1815-1858
Registers of Enlistments in the U.S. Army, 1798-1914
Passenger & Immigration Ship Arrival Records,
1600s-1800s
Passenger Lists, 1820-1954 (Customs & Immigrations)
Passport Applications, 1791-1926
Land Records, 1800-1974 (in the public land states)
List of North Carolina Land Grants in Tennessee,
1778-1791
Indian Records

COMMENTS:
Michael has done research for me at the National Archives
and I highly
recommend him. He does an excellent job at reasonable
rates.

The book in question is: Pioneers of
Kingfisher
County - 1889-1976 and put together by a committee
appointed by the Kingfisher Historical Society, and
shows a copyright date of 1976. It is not a
Genealogy book per se, but rather a compilation of
stories of Kingfisher Pioneer families, as well as a
great deal of Kingfisher County History - much of
gleaned from the Kingfisher Times and Free Press
Newspaper Anniversary issues. My parents and
grandparents are all featured in this book.
If I can look up information from this book for others I
would be happy to do so as time permits. I am sure
someone at the Kingfisher County Historical Society
has access to this book - I have two copies (mine and
my mother's).
