Married on last Sunday eve, the 11th inst., Miss Sallie
CHILDERS to Mr. Herschel SPENCER. The young couple
immediately took their departure for the C. and A.
country, where he has a claim, and where in the future
they will reside. We regret very much to lose them from
our midst, but wish them much success in their new
departure, and hope their cup of joy will be ever
overflowing. - (Wandel Items.)
Miss Grace CUNNINGHAM returned Saturday from Lawrence,
Kansas, where she has been attending K.S.U. for the past
year.

Sheriff BURCHETT has a crazy man on hand this week. Ben
FRANKS is his name. He is from Skeleton township. He is
crazy as a bedbug, and is 27 years of age. He will
probably get a vacation of a few years at Jacksonville,
