Vivian M.
Taliaferro
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Vivian M. Taliaferro, 90,
formerly of Perryton, Texas, died Wednesday, July 2,
2003.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers
Funeral Home Chapel of Perryton with the Rev. Donald
Stoll officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery.
Mrs. Taliaferro was a homemaker. She was a member of the
Mennonite Church of Perryton.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue T. Lane of Grand
Junction; a brother, Brooks Pletcher of Perryton; five
grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.

Wayne
DeWitt
PERRYTON - Wayne DeWitt, 52, died Thursday, July 17,
2003.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Perryton
Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Sally Jo Boyd
officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral
Home.
Mr. DeWitt was a service coordinator in the oil fields.
He was a Mason and a charter member of the Waka Lions
Club.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; two daughters, Melissa
Balzer and Brandy Williams, both of Perryton; five
brothers, Ron DeWitt of Pampa, Mike DeWitt of Lake
Texhoma, Okla., Calvin DeWitt of Portales, N.M., J.W.
DeWitt of Perryton and Tim DeWitt of Dallas; six sisters,
Virginia DeWitt of Carrollton, Cathey Reyes and Dot
Stone, both of Amarillo, Venita Moorehead of Canadian,
Vickie Lauer of Carrollton and Karen Rogers of Austin;
and five grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity,
or American Parkinson's Disease Association, 1250

Jose Luis Antunez
PERRYTON - Jose Luis Antunez, 59, died Wednesday, July
16, 2003, in Canadian.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Jose Gomez
officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by
Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Mr. Antunez worked in the oil fields for 26 years. He was
a tool pusher for Key Energy for three years.
Survivors include his wife, Amparo; a daughter, Blanca E.
Ramirez of Perryton; four sons, Andy Antunez, Joe Antunez
and David Antunez, all of Dallas, and Gilberto Antunez of
Canyon; two brothers, Sevariano Antunez of Colorado and
Gregorio Antunez of Mexico; three sisters, Rita Meraz of
Canadian, Antonia Martinez of Colorado and Maria De La
Luz Ramirez of Mexico; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Immaculate Conception
Catholic Church, 1000 S.W. 15th Ave., Perryton, TX 79070.
The body will be available for viewing at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church parish hall.
