Jackie L.
Lamm
PERRYTON - Jackie L. Lamm, 64, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in
Ochiltree Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Ramsey officiating.
Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Mr. Lamm was a truck driver. He was a member of the
Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Katreca; two sons, Michael L.
Lamm and Brent L. Lamm, both of Perryton; two sisters,
Joy Barker of Dimmitt and Donna Aven of Fort Lauderdale,
Fla.; a brother, Gary Lamm of Biggs, Okla.; four
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to S.P.C.A. or Ochiltree
Hospice Volunteers, 3101 Garrett Dr., Perryton, TX 79070.

Earlene F. Burroughs
Frantz Haller
PERRYTON - Earlene F. Burroughs Frantz Haller, 63, died
Friday, Oct. 10, 2003.
Services will be at noon Saturday in Victory Family
Church with the Rev. Marlon Sparks officiating.
Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Haller was born Aug. 1, 1940, in Lawton, Okla. She
had lived in the area since 2001, moving from Lansing,
Mich. She married Fred Haller on Sept. 19, 1987, in Grand
Ledge, Mich. She was a computer operator for Michigan
National Guard and was a member of Victory Family Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Flora
Burroughs.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Connie Frantz
of Lansing; two sons, James Frantz and wife, Leslie, of
Fort Myers, Fla., and Mark Frantz of Zephyrhills, Fla.;
two brothers, Tom Burroughs and wife, Phyllis, of Big
Fork, Mont., and Charlie Burroughs and wife, Jane, of
Oklahoma City; and special friends, Alice Hunter
(Pardner), Carol Laundry (Buddy), Carolyn Jacobs (You're
a real cut-up) and Heather (Lay Down).
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity;
American Heart Association in care of Ochiltree County
General Hospital, 3101 Garrett St., Perryton, TX 79070;
or American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Road,
Lubbock, TX 79424.

Navis Witt Neufeld
PERRYTON - Navis Witt Neufeld, 95, died Wednesday, Oct.
22, 2003.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United
Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Kennedy and the Rev.
Dr. Jeff Knighton officiating. Burial will be in
Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Neufeld was born Sept. 3, 1908, to Molly Kate Clark
Witt and A.C. Witt in Gail Borden County. Her family
lived on a farm near Lamesa in Dawson County before
moving to Perryton in the fall of 1912. She attended
Perryton schools graduating in 1926. She attended one
year of college at Southern Methodist University before
her marriage to Clarence H. Neufeld on Aug. 17, 1930.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of
Perryton, where she taught Sunday school and played the
piano for many years. She was a Cub Scout den mother and
involved in all school activities as her son was growing
up. She was a homemaker the majority of her life. At age
65 she began working with her husband at Plainview
Hardware Co. She worked with him for the next 13 years
until the store closed in November 1986.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 9, 1986;
her parents; and a brother, Alton Witt.
Survivors include a son, Don Neufeld and wife, Kaye, of
Perryton; two grandsons, Christopher H. Neufeld and wife,
Krystal, of Plano and Michael Don Neufeld, M.D. of
Seattle; a brother, Willard Witt and wife, Juanita, of
Amarillo; a sister-in-law, Ruth Davis of Denton; seven
nieces; and five nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to Altar Society of
First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 987, Perryton, TX
79070; Senior Citizens Center, P.O. Box 738, Perryton, TX
79070; or Ochiltree General Hospital Home Health, 3101
Garrett Drive, Perryton, TX 79070.
