"R.D." Meier
DARROUZETT - Reinhold Dare "R.D." Meier, 65, died
Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in
Darrouzett with Bill Griffin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be
in Darrouzett Cemetery by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral
Service of Booker.
Mr. Meier was born Jan. 31, 1938, in Beaver, Okla. He married
Julene Herber on April 12, 1967, in Shattuck, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Connie Weatherbie of
Canyon, Sharon Meier of Dickenson and Jan Slovacek of Hitchcock;
a son, David Smith of Oklahoma City; his mother, Emily Meier of
Canadian; two sisters, Julie Moore of Colorado City and LaVerta
Schafer of Canadian; six grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to St. Paul's Lutheran Church;
or American Legion, Kiowa Post No. 635 of Darrouzett.

H.E. Schoenhals
FOLLETT - H.E. Schoenhals, 81, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Follett United Methodist
Church. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery by Johnson's Good
Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.
Mr. Schoenhals was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Lipscomb County. He
married Erika Meier in 1945, and they farmed and ranched in
Lipscomb County.
Survivors include a son, Kendall Schoenhals of Follett; a
daughter, Becky Keel of Amarillo; three brothers; three sisters;
four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Hospice of Perryton, 3101
Garrett Drive, Perryton, TX 79070; or a favorite charity.
