Wanda Daniels

FOLLETT - Wanda Daniels, 86, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, in Booker.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Fairmont Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.

Mrs. Daniels was born Nov. 4, 1916, in Laverne, Okla. She married Kenneth Daniels on Oct. 9, 1935, in Arnett, Okla.

Survivors include a daughter, Earlene Daniels of Follett; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Glenard Elmore Memorial Fund through Follett National Bank; or American Lung Association.

Ross G. Zenor

HIGGINS -- Ross G. Zenor, 84, died Monday Oct. 20, 2003, In Canadian.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church in Higgins with the Rev. Nancy Moore, minister, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.

Mr. Zenor was born in Glazier. He lived in Higgins all his life. He married Cloie Sawyer in 1940 at Cheyenne, Okla. He served with the Navy Seabees in the Philippines during World War II.

After the service, he purchased Champlin Service Station, which he owned and operated until 1957. He then became the manager of Higgins Wheat Growers. He owned Circle Z Feed in Higgins.

He served as county commissioner for three terms from 1982-1994. Mr. Zenor was a member of the Higgins Masonic Lodge No. 820 AF & AM. He had served as master and been a member for more than 50 years. He was also a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Higgins.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 2002; four brothers, Clell Zenor, WanE Zenor, Bill Zenor, Bob Zenor; and by his parents, W.R. and Wessie Zenor.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Suthers and husband, Jim, of Shattuck, Okla.; a son, Tom Zenor of Higgins; a granddaughter, Amy Reece and husband, Terry, of Edmund, Okla.; a grandson, Kent Suthers and wife, Jana, of Enid, Okla.; a great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Reece of Edmond; and two great-grandsons, Tyler Reece and Nathan Reece, both of Edmund.

The family suggests memorials be to Higgins Public Library, P.O. Box 56, Higgins, TX 79046; or a favorite charity.
