Henrietta Behne Andrews

SPEARMAN - Henrietta Andrews, 94, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gruver United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Gary Gumfory and the Rev. George Price
officiating. Burial will be in Gruver Cemetery by Boxwell
Brothers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Andrews was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lutheran
church of Guymon, Okla. She married Loyd Andrews on Feb. 27,
1931.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979; an infant son;
her parents, Henry and Etta Meyers Behne; five brothers; two
stepdaughters; a daughter-in-law; a son-in-law; a grandson; and a
great-grandson.
Survivors include a son, Marvin L. Andrews of Guymon; two
daughters, Louetta McClellan of Gruver and Charlene Finley and
husband, Butch, of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren, Randy and Joanne
Andrews of Guymon, Kenny and Nancy Andrews of Elkhart, Kan.,
Karen and Richey Thompson and Verlin and Audry Behne, all of
Spearman, Kathy Millett of Woodward, Okla., Bobby Amason and
Nancy and Jerry Tucker, all of Amarillo, Donna and Macky Medley
of Stillwater, Minn., Phyllis and Mark Haught of Saginaw and
Jimmy Walters of Missouri; 21 great-grandchildren; and 12
great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Hansford Hospice, 707 Roland
St., Spearman, TX 79081.

Bob Griffin

GRUVER - Bob Griffin, 46, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, in Wichita,
Kan.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Christian Church with
the Rev. Gary Gumfory officiating. Burial will be in Gruver
Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Mr. Griffin was employed as a driller with Cheyenne Drilling Co.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Kruse and a
brother, Mike Griffin.
Survivors include four daughters, Bridget Rae Overstreet and Echo
Dawn Griffin, both of Guymon, Okla., Amanda Mae Earle of
Amarillo, and Brandi Kay Griffin of Gruver; three sons, Robert
Winston Griffin, Charles Colby Griffin and James Earl Griffin,
all of Gruver; his fiancee, Faye Harding of Hugo, Colo.; his
stepfather, Charles Kruse of Gruver; four brothers, Frank
Griffin, of Hereford, Bill Griffin of Dumas, J.L. Griffin of
Sheridan, Wyo., and Wayne Kruse of Gruver; his grandparents, Bud
and Verla Coryell of Saguache, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to St. Anthony's School
Endowment Fund, 114 Sunset Drive, Hereford, TX 79045; or Cal
Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174.

Survived by his wife and two children, his parents, John E. and
Lizzie E. Cotter, three brothers and three sisters.

Grady Aubrey Martin
Birth: Dec. 19, 1898. Ladonia, Fannin County, Texas
Death: Jan. 2, 1955, Texas
Grady's father was Hanry Jessie Martin born in Tishemango,
Mississippi born about 1871. His mother was Fannie Belle Tate
Martin born in New Albany, Mississippi about 1881. Grady had a
sibling.
This information was taken from a birth certificate that seems to
have been created August 23, 1941. It appears of record in Book 8
on page 107 of the Record of Births of Fannin County.
Ralston, Lillian H.
b. Jan. 25, 1888 d. Oct. 22, 1949
Lillian was a pioneer of the North Plains, the wife of R. H.
Ralston. They married in November of 1919 in Stratford, TX. Sons:
Cecil, Orie Albert and Roy. Daughter: Viola Jean,
Pallbears named were Floyd Cline, J. C. Harris, M. F. Barkley,
Darrell Cooper, Kelley Garrett, Horace Hayes, Coy Holt and Roy
Thomas. Officiating was Rev. W. L. Porterfield, pastor of the
Methodist church.
She lived in Gruver since 1927. County of birth was given as
Rusk.
