I am searching for info on the LITTLE's of White Deer, Texas. Aransas W. (Jack) LITTLE married Myrtle Olson in Seattle in 1927. They returned to White Deer in January of 1930 for the birth of their child, Nora Jean LITTLE (ADLER). Aransas' mother was to have lived in White Deer (thus their visit 1/24/1930). She was said to have been a "barber" there. May have had her own business? I would love to find ANY info on this family! Or any clues. Thanks. I'm researching the COFFEE family that once (and maybe still) graced Carson Co. Here are some details on the family: Descendants of Logan McMillon COFFEE (d. bef. 1865) and his wife, Mary Elizabeth RAGLAND (1807-1880) and other related COFFEEs came to Carson County, most likely from Jackson County, Alabama sometime before or early into the Civil War. Logan's parents are supposedly James COFFEE and Elizabeth "Betsey" COFFEE, but that's all I know about their ancestry. Descendants I know of are as follows: 2. Mansel COFFEE------->>>> went to Lavaca Co. 2. Thomas "Logan" COFFEE-------->>>> came to Carson Co. 2. Araminta COFFEE 2. William D. COFFEE 2. Cleveland COFFEE 2. Robert Marion COFFEE 2. Julia COFFEE 2. Fanny E. COFFEE 2. Langston COFFEE (2) Thomas Logan Coffee married Carrie Lamina Straughn while on a cattle drive (for the Bar N Ranch ??) through Dodge City, KS. Their son (3) Glenn T. Coffee married Rosa Augusta ENGLISH (d. 1928, buried, White Deer Cemetery, White Deer, Carson Co., Texas) Their son (4) Virgil Glenn Coffee was born in Carson Co. at their homestead in 1917. Any help on the COFFEE family or the ENGLISH family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks--------------------------------------------------
