"The photo taken as Groom, Texas of the 66 Courts , are indeed that.  I lived there in the house/office back in 1973.  I remember my sister, brother, and I use to play in the run down gas station.  Have a scar on my left leg from the thick window that was broken there.  That is Groom, Texas on route 66 and I do believe there was a grain elevator or something of the sort across the street.  The courts are gone now but still I can see just where the peach tree was at the back door."
