The Native American Research Project is intended to provide a place where those with special interest in Native American families from Kingfisher County and surrounding areas may share their genealogical findings. These may include records of any kind, including census records, birth, marriage, and death records, and land records.

Dear Sir:

RED LEAF, of the Calument District, states that she wishes to transfer the remains of her son, Warren BIGHAWK, now buried on the allotment of ELK RIVER, to the cemetery at the Kingfisher Mission. Please see Rev. Mr. HAMILTON as to whether he approves of the plan and if so, send me an estimate of the cost of disinterring the remains, enclosing them in a neat wooden box, and reinterring them in the cemetery. Warren BIGHAWK died about six years ago.
