Mr. W.B. FREER

Dear Mr. FREER:
Thank you very much for the dates of death of Christian Indians, as given to me in a recent letter. I do not know under what other name Lottie STARR was known. She was a young Arapaho girl, a pupil at the school, the daughter, I think of UGLY BUFFALO, or BAD BUFFALO, who lived at Twelve Mile Point. She was the sister of Bertha STARR, who is now the wife of Doc SEWARD, living north of Calumet. It is possible Miss BOWMAN can help me out...

Yours in service,
Mary P. JAYNE
