Dear Sir:
Your letter of the 21st Inst. relative to the report of births, deaths and marriages from this District, received and in reply will say that on December 20th, 1904 [sic] I submitted to your office a report of the birth of a boy, son of HAS NO SHIRT and Alice KICKAPOO, and at the same time made the statement that no marriages, deaths or other births had been reported to me. Since this report the following has been reported to me:
Births: None
Marriages:
STANDING TWENTY (#1242) to PIPE WOMAN (#59), Ceremony performed by Rev. HAMILTON, Jan. 8th, 1905.
BELLY MULE (#169) to LITTLE WALKER (#1938), Ceremony performed by Probate Judge, Jan. 14th, 1905.
It is also reported to me that Grover CLEVELAND, (WHETSTONE) was married to Emma BOBTAIL WOLF, but no record of license is in evidence at the office of the Probated Judge of Blaine Co.
Deaths:
TWIN WOMAN, (Mrs. WHIRLWIND) January 15th, 1905.
LITTLE HAWK, (#307) Died January 12th, 1905.
Yours Very Respectfully,
Chas. W. RUCKMAN
Additional Farmer, D. #2
Post Script: Since writing this letter, I have learned through the Probate Judge that he did not perform the marriage of BELLY MULE and LITTLE WALKER and that the Certificate has not been returned to him. The Indians inform me that the ceremony was performed by Rev. HAMILTON. I will ascertain the facts as soon as I can.
(C.W.R.)
