M. L. Ingalls Hurt.

While he was loading stone near Myrtle last Friday for building purposes M L Ingalls, one of Union townships best known citizens met with an accident that may cost him his life. In throwing the rock on the wagon, one of them struck the wheel and bounding back struck Mr. Ingalls in the left groin. It caused him intense pain but he managed after a while to get it back on the wagon, but after he got back on the load he became deathly sick and had to stop for a while. He saw Ab. Taylor in the field and finding that Mr. Ingalls was hurt Mr. Taylor took him to his own home. A physician was summoned, but the case proving the need of an operation, an Oklahoma City specialist was sent for and some of the internal organs were found badly injured.

M. L. Ingle, of whose injuries we spoke in our last issue, died last Saturday morning, and was buried that afternoon. Mr. Ingle was a pioneer settler in Union township this county. He owned a number of farms and was considered a wealthy man. He was probably past 50 years of age and a bachelor. He was a man of upright character and well esteemed by his neighbors.
