"My great great grandfather was Halsey Stephens.
My grandfather named my father Lilburn Halsey Stevens
& he named me Sherrill Halsey Stevens. My son is
Marcus Halsey Stevens.

Halsey Stephens' father was Edward Stephens.
He married Martha W. Rogers, whose mother was
Martha Halsey, daughter of Thomas Halsey,
who died at Southampton in 1764."

d. 31 Aug 1833, Quogue, Suffolk Co.


William J. Stephens/Stevens
b. 28 Apr 1832, Southampton, Suffolk Co.
d. 30 May, 1918, Tyrone, OK. Civil War veteran.
Co B, 7th Minnesota Volunteer Infantry (1862 - 1865).

Lilburn Halsey Stevens
Major General, US Army.
b. 21 Sep 1902, Liberal, KS, d. 7 Sep 1978, Tacoma, WA.
Lilburn was a WW I vet (103rd Ammunition Train,
28th Infantry Division (France & Germany))
He was also a WW II veteran as Commander,
648th Tank Destroyer Battalion. (France & Germany.)
He retired in 1958 as Adjutant General of the State of Washington.

Sherrill Halsey Stevens
Lt. Colonel, US Army (ret).
(Korean era vet, two combat tours in Vietnam
with Military Advisory Command.)
