1861-1865

"My name is Laura Congleton and I am the newly-elected New York Department
President of Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 (DUVCW).

We are one of the five original members of the Allied Orders of the Grand
Army of the Republic, and work side by side with the Sons of Union Veterans.

We have a local group (tent) on Long Island.

Our website has several pages that walk people through beginning their Civil War research."
