Mrs. Alice Kenney McPherson (Mrs. Edward), of Belton, Missouri, gives the information that on the farm near New Santa Fe, Jackson County, owned by her grandfather, Sam Wade, were buried several members of the family whose bodies were later moved to Union Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
Besides Sam Wade and his wife, who were buried on the farm, there were:
Lou Ann Wade, a daughter of Sam and Polly Wade, b: July 20, 1836, d: Aug. 1, 1855; married, Dec. 8, 1853, Thomas Keeney
Anna Eliza Wade, the first wife of William S. Gregory, Mayor or Kansas City in 1853.
