Stephenson Cemetery
The following are taken from an old cemetery known as STEPHENSON Cemetery on the Noble Davis farm, 6 miles north of Odessa, Missouri, Route 3, in Lafayette county., Copied by Loretta B. Bingham.

The following records are from an old cemetery located just west of Buck's summer fruit stand, on Highway 24, near Waverly, Missoui in Lafayette county. This cemetery is extremely overgrown, and would have been nearly impossible to search had the foliage not been dormant. It is in bad condition. The stones are nearly covered in many instances with several year's growht of grass that has dried without being cut. The bank along the highway side has eroded. The post to what once must have been the gate are lying on their sides. It is obvious that there are many graves in this loction that will never be marked, or, if marked already, the markers will never be found beneath the growth of weeds and grass. It looks suspiciously as though the cemetery plots are being re-used, as there are some recent graves in the area. The following are miscellaneous old stone inscriptions:
