Services for hit and run victim to be held Monday

Services for John William Sherrill, 51, of 805 East Twenty-second avenue, North Kansas City, who was injured fatally early yesterday by a hit and run car on Main street just east of the Union Station, will be held at 2 o’clock Monday at the Morton-Smith Chapel, North Kansas City. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Liberty. 

Mr. Sherrill was a foreman in the outgoing letter section of the General Post Office twenty-five years. 

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl K Sherrill of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Velma St.John, Gashland, and Mrs. Thelma Hamilton, Smithville, MO; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Sherrill, Jameson, MO., and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Water, Jameson, and Mrs. Elma Brown, Denver, and two brothers, Albert Sherrill, Albany, MO, and Jess Sherrill, McFall, MO.
