Joseph Lockwood

Joseph Lockwood and wife Pheobe Brainard Lockwood
came to Oklahoma from Kansas in a wagon train
with their son, Bert Lockwood, wife Ora Fortner Lockwood;
they had Gravil, Nellie, Bertie, Emma, and her parents, the Fortners.

One of Joseph and Pheobe's other children, Arthur [my line], married widow Adda Daughterty Lange Burrell, in 1901 in Payne County, Oklahoma.

They had Val, Bessie [my grandma], Leonard, Mark, Amelia (she married a Pawnee Indian named Eppler and had two children, Joe and Francis)

Emma Lockwood married Val Wells and had Minnie.
Minnie had Carl Bishop, and they lived around Sparks, Oklahoma.

Mark had Ernest Lockwood, and Ernest had Earl Lockwood.
