Reynolds
The deceased was born in Clay county, Missouri, six
miles northwest of Liberty, February 9, 1847. She was
68 years old. She departed this life January 11,
1911. She was the daughter of John and Emily
Reynolds, pioneer settlers in the county. Her
marriage to W. A. Reynolds took place April 3, 1866.
To this union were born three children, Miss Emily
Reynolds, Mrs. Joe Craig of Lincoln, NE., and Mrs.
Bill Darnell, north of Liberty. Mrs. Darnell was at
her mother's bedside when she departed this life. She
leaves besides the three daughters, her husband and
11 grandchildren, 1 brother, Yerby W. Reynolds,
northewest of Libery, 2 half brothers, J. E. Reynolds
of Clifton county and John D. Reynolds of Kearney, 2
half sisters, Anna C. Peters, north of Liberty and
Louisa (Louisiana) G. Clark of Liberty. She also
leaves a number of nieces and nephews.
Dear wife, mother, grandmother and sister, we mourn
your sad departure. All who knew her loved her for
her kind and affectionate disposition.
Her remains were followwed to Providence Church by a
number of friends and relatives and funeral services
were conducted by Brother Bristow, pastor of Prairie
Home Church. The body was laid in the Providence
cemetery to await the resurrection morn. -- Sister
